My name is Aaron Teplitsky and I
grew up with video games. My dream has always been to bring the same
kind of fun that I grew up with to people around the world.
I have always enjoyed everything
about arcades: the games, their styles of play, the atmospheres, the
other players and the competition they bring... and I still frequent
arcades to this day, for all of these reasons.
But many gamers today have not
experienced this. Many arcades have closed. New game releases are few
and far between, and much of what is new is mediocre. Competition is
not always easy to find. And of course, unlike the old days, home
consoles are capable of graphics as good as--or even far better
than--the expensive arcade machines, which leads many to wonder why
they should leave their houses in the first place.
Most of the games I produce will
attempt to capture the arcade spirit that I feel is missing from so
many modern games. The feel...the competitiveness...the fast
pace...the pure action...and of course, the fun...this is what I will
attempt to convey.
